To support resumption of in-person family time, DCYF consulted with the Department of Health to create health guidance and protocols to minimize the risk of virus transmission during a visit.
Virtual Hearing Instructions – Spokane Dependency Court
The Spokane Dependency Court developed instructions for families, professionals, and judicial officers participating in virtual hearings. The court utilizes the Zoom platform to make hearings public.

INNOVATION The Parents for Parents (P4P) program is a promising practice that provides peer outreach, engagement and education by Parent Allies, parents who have successfully navigated the child welfare system, to parents who are new to the dependency system.
